No less than two individuals were killed and handfuls were harmed in a mass taking shots at a neighborhood blowout in Baltimore early Sunday, authorities said.
The two individuals who were killed at the party, in the Brooklyn Homes area, were recognized by police Sunday as Aaliyah Gonzales, 18, and Kylis Fagbemi, 20.
Police said 28 others were harmed, three of them fundamentally. In an explanation on Sunday, Baltimore police said those harmed casualties went in age from 13 to 32, with most being young people.
"Our hearts and petitions to heaven are going out to the families, conveying to the families and companions of these casualties, as well as the local area in our whole city," acting Police Chief Richard Worley said at a prior news gathering.
Police initially got calls about the shooting around 12:30 a.m. Sunday.
Nineteen individuals were taken to the crisis branch of MedStar Harbor Clinic, all "experiencing changing levels of injury discharge wounds," said Debra Schindler, MedStar Wellbeing's local overseer of media and advertising.
